Youth Advisory Committee (YAC)

Getting teens involved at the library is the goal! This club meets in the Storytime room on the main floor of the library on the first Tuesday of each month. Joining the YAC will allow you to:

Plan library programming for teens, including Summer Reading Programs

   Write and film book reviews

Help purchase books for the library’s collection

Also, juniors and seniors can ask for a letter of recommendation for their college applications!

If you are in grades 7-12 , can commit to one year of service on the committee ( meetings are once a month) , are enthusiastic about teen books, and you are willing to be part of an integral group at the library, you can turn in this application to the Youth Services Department.

***Turning in an application does not automatically grant membership to the Teen Advisory Committee, as all applications must be reviewed.***
