Friends of the Ashland Public Library
About the Friends of the Library
Organized in 1985, our organization is a non-profit group that supports
the Ashland Public Library with voluntary service and monetary
contributions. We are able to raise funds through membership fees
and book sales. Since our inception we have raised thousands of
dollars for the library to support programs and purchase items that may
exceed the library's regular budget. Our gifts have been used to
sponsor events like the annual summer reading program and National
Library Week and also for special purchases like the library's mini-van.
