First Thursday of the month
 6:00-8:00 pm
Get together with fellow crafters for a creativity blast! Work on your knitting, crocheting, scrapbooking or whatever you enjoy, show off finished projects, and check out what other people are doing. Each month we'll feature a brief presentation of some sort of craft and a social atmosphere to craft, chat, and share projects and ideas.

April 1st - Learn about candle making.

April 8: 12 Angry Men (1957)

The jury is filing into the jury room to decide if the defendant is innocent or guilty. Only one is convinced of innocence as the jurors face their prejudices and preconceptions. Starring Henry Fonda, Ed Begley and Jack Klugman.

May 13: It Happened One Night (1934)

Newlywed Ellie Andrews searches for her husband and enlists the help of reporter Peter Warne. Of course they fall in love in this great romantic comedy starring Clark Gable and Claudette Colbert.

Join us for a lively discussion of both current and classic books - a new title is read each month. There is no need to register; everyone is welcome to join the fun. Light refreshments are provided. Extra copies of selected titles can usually be found each month at the Circulation Desk.

A young social worker who has survived a near-rape discovers photos of celebrities taken years before by a homeless man and her inquiries into the man's past involves missed opportunities and unreliable sources.  

May 20: Proust and the Squid
by Maryanne Wolf

Wolf, a professor at Tufts University, delves into the development of the reading brain. Early history of humanity is featured as well as present day stages of an individual's brain development.
